The Château de la Grave is owned by none other than Laurent’s family, where he got his start.
His cousins have been running this estate for four generations. Recently, the latest generation has taken over with Lou.
A musician and winemaker, he decided as soon as he arrived to convert the entire estate to organic farming and then to biodynamic farming. This long-term effort deserved to include a collaboration with Les Chais!
This vintage is the result of a collaborative winemaking process carried out in concrete tanks, followed by 8 months of aging, also in tanks.
Lou selected his vineyard plots, and we worked with him to refine his style in the Chais tradition.
