François Saint-Lô's captivating story began in 2012, when he decided to take his destiny into his own hands and set up on his own in Haut-Nueil, a picturesque hamlet nestled in the commune of Berrie. There, on the proud limestone hilltop, he discovered an enchanting landscape dotted with troglodytic caves, silent witnesses to the passage of time.
But there's more to his story than just a solitary adventure. It's rooted in sharing, friendship and collaboration. In the early days, friends gathered around him to create a collective, a place where wine took shape, moments were shared and a common adventure came to life. It was much more than an individual enterprise, it was a collective effort to harness diverse skills and share a deep passion.
Today, although the cellar has moved from this original location, it remains nearby, on the same street, just 30 meters away. The collective persists, a continuous presence emanating from the stone walls and the echoes of the music. Around wine, wood and stone, the group continues to welcome and share, creating a convivial space where ideas mingle and experiences intertwine.
