Jean-Claude Lapalu

Jean Claude Lapalu's vineyard covers just over 12 hectares in the Beaujolais region, cradle of the natural wine revival.
On these granite terroirs, you could say that Jean Claude Lapalu's vines draw all the magic directly from the rock, which they then transmit to their wines.
No inputs in the vineyard or in the cellar, extremely meticulous sorting of grapes at harvest to keep only the best of the best.
It was this winemaker who introduced me to natural wine 🙂
