We're off again on a mini odyssey that will introduce you to two winemakers from the Corbières Catalan mountains in south-west France.
The Zulu Winea project was launched by Jessica and Christophe Albero in 2015, and takes root in a breeding ground of clear values: offering natural wines created in collaboration with local winemakers. Unconventional beverages with authentic tastes and vials.
For almost six years now, Jessica has continued, perfected and persevered in this task.
Supported by Laurent Pujol following the death of her husband and collaborator, they went on to create the Recerca estate, which means "research" in Catalan.
Working as a duo, they cultivate and pamper 4 hectares in Vingrau.
Their wines are hardly eccentric - like the Pharmakonmade up of 90% Syrah and 10% Muscat - without any inputs, of course.
