Stéphanie and Vincent Deboutbertin, a couple driven by an unwavering passion for wine and a deep connection with the land, gave birth to Domaine Deboutbertin in the year 2012. Their journey into the world of viticulture has been marked by a resolute commitment to Organic Agriculture, testifying to their respect for the ecosystem and their desire to produce wines of authenticity and integrity.

On this estate, the four hectares of vines they cultivate are much more than just a vineyard. Each plot, each vine stock is pampered with meticulous attention, carrying within it the potential to give birth to wines of exceptional purity. Growing organically is not just a practice for them, it's a philosophy that translates into every drop of wine they produce.

Stéphanie and Vincent's philosophy is also reflected in their uncompromising approach to winemaking. Their belief that wine should be a pure expression of the grape leads them to create wines that are literally "100% fermented grape juice". This apparent simplicity hides a deep understanding of the fermentation process, a subtle alchemy that humbly transforms the fruit of the vine into a beverage that tells the story of the terroir.

Domaine Deboutbertin comprises seven parcels, each of modest size, because Stéphanie and Vincent believe in the value of diversity. Their vines, often the result of ancient selections, bear witness to their quest for a harmonious symbiosis between grape varieties and the environment. These disease-resistant varieties, forged by the passage of time, flourish on these carefully tended and respected soils.

When harvest time comes, Stéphanie and Vincent's expert hands direct the hand-picking of the grapes. Each bunch is carefully examined and sorted with almost artistic meticulousness. Their choice to bottle without filtration or sulfur is a testament to their confidence in the fruit of their labor and their respect for the natural wine-making process.
